Through partnership with Action aid International Kenya, we implemented a project known as STAR- Society Tackling Aids through Rights. STAR was a project funded by global fund through care Kenya and Action aid in June 2011 to June 2014.

The project targeted the youth, women and entire community especially the poor on their perception on HIV/AIDS and behavior change communication. This project has seen at least more than 300 youth reached and changed with a positive attitude towards life. We conducted sports activities where we had VCT counseling and testing. The project has also seen some of our members being trained on HIV/AIDS and peer education. We have seen over 400 youths in the community turning up for either counseling or testing. Many youth have also gained knowledge on BCC and we have noted a positive change in them.
