With a vision of having a peaceful society we successfully implementing our own volunteering peace project with a theme- ‘Majirani Tulindane, Sisi sote Tusiasi’ a Swahili version meaning Neighbors protect each other so that we prevent going against God’s will. This project mainly targeted young generation and the entire community. The project mainly advocated on peace and patriotism mainly as we were within elections period in Kenya and also surrounded by issues such as MRC and ALSHAABAB. We also targeted youths in schools especially those in Class eight and form four for they were at a high risk of engaging into political forums and meetings in 2012- 2013.

We also trained youths on group dynamics. Through this we have seen a positive change on the community and the youth groups that we partnered with such as Jicho pevu arts, Innocent souls and Vijana for Change. They are now able to resolve their conflicts amicably without help from us. On the other hand we also advocate on education for the common Kenyan child as one of the peace building factors is quality education. Education reduces poverty rate giving opportunity for the youths to venture into entrepreneurship activities thus obtaining a developed sustainable life.
